Amy holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign.
She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working with children, families and adolescents
in Chicago for the past 15 years. For over a decade, Amy has served as a primary therapist at a leading
children's hospital providing direct clinical care to children and adolescents within the inpatient unit,
partial hospital program and outpatient psychiatry department.

She specializes in helping children, adolescents and adults address and overcome issues surrounding
mood and anxiety disorders, loss, adjustment issues, trauma, family conflict and social difficulties.
Areas of experience include individual, group and family counseling.

Amy uses a psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and strength-based approach to explore and work
through an individual’s problems and barriers which are limiting their growth and individual development.
It is Amy’s belief that asking for help is a sign of strength. She becomes the client’s supporter,
advocate and guide in this process. Amy is passionate about helping individuals achieve their
full potential in both coping and living.
