Christine Vacin received her Bachelors degree in psychology from Wheaton College
in Massachusetts and her Masters in Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago
with a specialization in children and families. Christine is a Licensed Social Worker who
specializes in helping adolescents and adults to overcome issues with mood and anxiety
disorders, trauma and addiction. She utilizes a psychodynamic and strength-based approach
to explore and work through problems concerning self-confidence, anxiety, depression,
stress, adjustment difficulties, life transitions, self-identity and family/relationship dynamics.
Christine uses experiential therapy to explore various underlying life experiences which
may offer a new perspective to process these issues. Christine has been trained in EMDR,
which is a highly effective therapeutic approach when dealing with addiction and trauma.
Christine strongly believes in developing a safe, trusting relationship in a warm,
non-judgmental environment with her clients.
