Dr. Basch brings almost 20 years of clinical practice and experience to The Millennium Center, LLC.
She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Basch is also certified
by the American Board of Addiction Medicine and has a sub-specialty from the American Society
of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).

Currently the Medical Director at the Rush Day Hospital at Rush Medical Center, Dr. Basch integrates
psychopharmacology and psychotherapy in her daily practice. In addition to her hospital work, Dr. Basch’s
experience includes private practice and community psychiatry as well as serving as a research psychiatrist
in Phase II-IVclinical trials.

Dr. Basch believes that with daily advances in the understanding of the biology and psychology of addiction,
both patients and caregivers can now grasp addiction as a medically treatable disease. She is working for
the day when the addicted patient can seek office-based treatment with multiple options including greater
accessibility and affordability to needed care. As patients have greater options and equal treatment,
stigma disappear, options increase, and hope rises.
