With more than twenty years of experience in various forms of counseling and program management,
Jenny brings a wealth of experience to Millennium Counseling Center. Jenny’s specialties are working
with survivors of abuse, chemical dependence, process addictions, trauma, anxiety and depression.
After graduating with double honors from the University of Chicago, Jenny started out her career
in education, acting as the Director of Admissions and Development at the Sacred Heart Schools
in Chicago. There, among her many duties, she provided outplacement counseling and referrals for
students with special needs.
In 1993, she earned her Masters in Education, Counseling at Loyola University in Chicago and began
herimpressive career. In private practice the last five years, Jenny has guided many individuals and couples
through the recovery process. Jenny has also worked as program manager and coordinator for several
outpatient agencies, where her duties included overseeing staff, training intake and assessment counselors,
counseling various patient populations and supervising graduate students. Jenny is a licensed clinical
professional counselor and EMDR certified. She is also an Addiction Severity Index (ASI) trainer.
Throughout her full and wide-ranging career, Jenny has never lost sight of her true focus and goal — to
help those with addictions and their families overcome its crippling effects. She feels privileged to be
engaged in this kind of work and knows that recovery and a better life are possible for everyone.
