Dr. Mary Fry received her medical degree from the University of Michigan more than
20 years ago and has been practicing internal medicine and teaching medical students
ever since. She is currently in private practice and on staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital
in Chicago. In addition, she has completed the faculty-training program at, and now
teaches for, the Academy on Communication in Healthcare, an international organization
dedicated to improving relationships and communication in health care.

Her personal commitment to the possibilities of growth and recovery motivate
her to work with patients to develop a more centered and healthier life.
