Nicole holds a Masters degree in Human Services/Counseling from National-Louis
University. She is a licensed clinical professional counselor and a state-certified alcohol
and drug counselor. Nicole also has her certification in EMDR.
After graduating with a bachelors degree in marketing, Nicole initially pursued a career
in the corporate world. Not too long after, Nicole vowed to “make a difference in
people’s lives” and went back to graduate school. For several years, Nicole gained
a great deal of experience in addictions as she ran an Intensive Outpatient program
at a well-known local treatment center. While acting as the children’s program director
at a domestic violence shelter, she had the opportunity to work with both children and
battered women, further developing her counseling skills. Most recently, Nicole did
spiritual counseling with a local suburban hospital.
Nicole finds great rewards in working with children, teens and families. She has a special
interest in working with people suffering from eating disorders. Embracing her own
philosophy that all clients deserve and need support as they navigate their own
recovery, Nicole is committed to working with and beside the individual through
their journey.
